I prayed that I may know Christ
For strength and discernment
To be shielded from evil
God heard my prayers
He came alongside me
And offered to carry my baggage
I’ve put all my eggs in His basket
I’ve unloaded all my burdens
I feel light and free
I skip along by His side
Brimming with gratitude
