Almost
every week, some crisis comes up in my life which I’m not equipped to deal with.
Unfortunately, my first instinct is to try to figure out a solution by myself.
When that doesn’t work, then I ask God, “What should I do?”
“If
you see that the job is too big for you, that it’s something only God
can do, and you trust him to do it—you could never do it for yourself no matter
how hard and long you worked—well, that trusting-him-to-do-it is what gets you
set right with God, by God.” (Romans 4:4-5 MSG)
When
I am faced with a trial that I’m not equipped to handle, I need to send it to God.
All I have to do is package it in prayer, wait in complete trust, and write
about the results for others to see. Pray, trust, and write; it’s that simple!
